Role Description
This is a remote freelance contract role for a Script Writer at Kino Haus Films. As a Script Writer, you will be responsible for creating and developing compelling scripts and screenplays for our projects. Your day-to-day tasks will involve scriptwriting, scripting, and collaborating with the video production team to bring creative visions to life.
Qualifications

Strong proficiency in scriptwriting, screenplays, and scripting with excellent research skills and the ability to quickly grasp and communicate complex topics

Minimum of 6 years of experience in script writing, copywriting, or content creation

Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent writing skills and the ability to create engaging content for diverse audiences

Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Good command of the English Language

Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team

Experience in the film industry or related fields is a plus

Bachelor's degree in creative writing, journalism, communications, or a related field
Responsibilities

Create video scripts, ad copies, and long-form content for marketing communications

Collaborate with the creative team to develop scripts for video content, ensuring they are engaging and align with the company's brand voice

Research to understand the company's industry, target audience, and competitors

Create engaging Titles, descriptions, and meta tags for YouTube videos and other social media posts

Proofread and edit scripts to ensure clarity, coherence, and grammatical accuracy

Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and adjust content to better meet the needs and expectations of both the audience and the company

Prepare and deliver pitches to explain concepts and visions for the script

Ensure that the script does not infringe on copyrights or trademarks

Collaborate with marketing and design teams to develop content strategies that align with business goals
